Put simply: art is something I cannot not do.

The backbone to my creative practice is a dedicated commitment to a sound drawing discipline. Drawing the human from and exploring the psychological components of human nature provide the most challenging yet rewarding components of my practice. The processes developed through a disciplined drawing practice are transformed into the process of intaglio printmaking and in more recent times I have begun experimentation with transfer release images (from my drawings), monoprints and collagraphs. The making of artist books complements my practice.
