Meredith Macleod is a Tasmanian born Brisbane artist working within the disciplines of drawing, printmaking (intaglio etching) and artist books. Meredith holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Queensland College of Art (2013) majoring in Drawing and Printmaking. She also has a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts Social Work (both degrees from the University of Tasmania). For over forty years she ran a Visual Arts mentoring business, teaching art to children and adults. This included working with numerous community agencies and Artist in Residence programs.

The artist has been involved in solo and group exhibitions including several exhibitions at Jugglers Art Space, The Project Gallery at QCA and Doggett Street Studio. Meredith regularly participates in group exhibitions with Impress Printmakers, The Brisbane Institute of Art, Downlands School and Firestation Print Studio in Melbourne.

2021 - Two artist books: Midnight in Iso i and Midnight in Iso ii were purchased by the State Library of Victoria in conjunction with Bookish/Print Council

2023 - Finalist, Burnie Print Prize, Burnie Regional Gallery, Tasmania
